  • We have reached the stage in the Israel-Hamas war where the death of hundreds of civilians - with a significant number of these being women and children - is no longer newsworthy.

  • And where Israeli leaders openly announce intentions to severely restrict humanitarian aid as a tool of leverage and pressure on citizens of Gaza.

  • (side note: but just because these tactics are unethical or illegal, doesn’t necessarily mean they are wholly ineffective either. After a long period of silence, residents of Gaza have protested against Hamas leaders - blaming them for their current predicament.)

  • We have even reached a stage where the Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu is no longer hiding his intention to move forward with the final stage of the ‘‘Trump Plan’’ of building a Gaza Riviera.

  • This plan is also known as (less flatteringly) ethnic cleansing and resettlement of millions of Palestinians from their lands.

  • If the international community does not stop this, we are about to witness one of the worst mass scale human rights violations and brazen acts of injustice in recent history.
